Berkshire Cir
Meridian Capital Holdings purchased Berkshire with Kadlec Properties back in January of 2010. The house was in the great area of Wachiva Hunt Club in Longwood, Florida. The house had a solid roof, block structure and over 2,100 SqFt of living space a pool and a great layout.
Here is a photo of the front of the house before we purchased it. Note after we bought it the outdoor A/C compressor mysteriously disappeared (STOLEN).
The kitchen was very dated, with drop down ceilings, ugly cabinets and dated appliances. The kitchen also had a wall blocking it from the main living room.
The pool was in good shape minus the fact there was no water in it.
The rest of the house was in the same shape, it needed someone to bring it back to life. We converted the office into a 4th bedroom, gave the interior a fresh coat of paint and gave the kitchen a WOW factor.
Here is a photo of Berkshire after we stuccoed the front of the house and removed the ugly stone. This made the house very inviting and gave it great curb appeal.
We removed the wall in the kitchen, added new granite tops and stainless steel appliances. This made the kitchen and living room much more open. We also removed the drop down ceiling and placed 6 recessed lights in.
After we changed out some of the pool equipment, fixed some screen and filled in the pool; the back of the house really came to life!
This house had multiple offers on it within about 2-3 weeks of being on the market.
