Meridian Capital Holdings

In early 2012 one of Meridian Capital Holdings properties was picked for A&E’s television program “Fix This Yard“.  It was such an amazing and exciting experience for Meridian Capital Holdings, everyone from the Cast and Crew was fantastic.  The show aired on June 2, 2012 at 10:30AM EST in the shows season finale!!!

Meridian Capital Holdings managing partner Ryan Courech and Lisa Chimento were the featured homeowners with Meridian Capital Holdings other managing partner Howard Axner and wife Karen Levin making a special cameo appearance!

This is what Banchory looked like before the amazing transformation.  As you can see this house had zero curb appeal with an ugly mustard color trim and literally like 10 blades of green grass in the front yard.  The yard really needed some help, both Ryan and Howard actually drove by the property several times before the yard was fixed.

The first day of filming is primarily demo day which is always a Meridian Capital Holdings favorite!  Film crew CHECK, Camera Equipment CHECK, Bobcat Check!!!

Here Amy and Alan are being filmed by the crew in a scene demonstrating the proper way to tamp the soil prior to installing the brick pavers.  The big screens are to help prevent shadows or add extra natural light.  Amy and Alan were both great, a little known fact Amy helped pick the new paint colors for the house, everyone loved the paint color.

This is a photo of day 3 where we are about to film the scene of Amy and Ryan making the arbor for above the garage.  Check out a How To Video at A&E’s site here!

Crew taking a much needed break before another scene is filmed

Here we are on day 3 again with some of the crew from the landscaper laying out the plants prior to planting.  These guys from Landscape Fusion in Tampa worked incredibly hard and did an outstanding job.

The new sprinkler system has been installed and the plants are being laid out before being planting.

Here we are on day 4 the landscaping is almost complete the house is really starting to take shape!

Here is Ryan on the directors screen, everyone is mic’d up, so the director can hear and see what you would see on your TV at home.

Here is the final product, the house came out spectacular!  Notice all the new features such as a new front door, arbor over the garage, white vinyl fence, new plants, beautiful brick paver driveway, new paint colors and all the stuff you can’t see like a high end sprinkler system, wood repair and the stone siding freshly sealed!

That’s a wrap!  Cast, Crew and homeowners celebrating Zombie Defense Alliance style for a job well done.  Everyone worked so hard and was so professional, they did an unbelievably great job in such a short period of time.
